Prevention of trans-border and trans-LoC infiltration by militants has been one of the greatest challenges for the security forces. While there is a sizable army and other security forces deployment all along the border and LoC; there are large gaps which are exploited during various weather and climatic conditions for movement of infiltration groups supported by guides who know every inch of the area.

Economic crisis hits airport privatisation, but some momentum regained recently - New CAPA report

In the last six months or so, as the economic downturn has really begun to take effect. The prospects for airport privatisation have reduced accordingly. Despite the credit crunch new investors have continued to emerge and there are still a substantial number of smaller deals at the regional level, especially in emerging countries.
